Siobhan Grey appears in Manslaughter trial where prosecution offered No Evidence on a count of Manslaughter following an affray after the defence argued lack of causation.

R v John Venn

The deceased died from a haemorrhagic stroke. After detailed investigations by the defence, it became apparent that the deceased had a history of high blood pressure, an abnormal heart rhythm, on prescribed blood thinning medication and suffered from liver disease. Neuro-pathologists were instructed who concluded that with the deceased’s background medical history, his condition could have resulted in a fatal stroke at any time.

Siobhan Grey QC was instructed by Steve Wedd and Sarah Clarke at Warrens Law.
