A double murderer who appeared in court in a hospital bed was sentenced to life in prison for the killing of his ex-wife and mother-in-law.

Sergei Solotovsky, 44, was told he will serve at least 30 years in prison for killing Svetlana Zolotovska, 40, and her mother Antonina Belsak, 70.
