Mark Harries defends a paramedic accused of misconduct and impaired fitness to practise at the HCPC.

Mark Harries acted for a paramedic accused of professional failings in respect of the treatment of 3 separate patients. In all save a single instance, the Panel found that the allegations against the paramedic were either not proved or did not amount to misconduct.
The Panel did conclude that the failure to hospitalise a patient who had suffered a fall and who was later discovered to have broken his neck was misconduct which impaired the registrants FTP on public confidence grounds, but was persuaded to impose no sanction in the circumstances of the case.

Mark was instructed by Andrea James at Knights 1759.
