Gerard Hillman and Ashley Hendron appear in Hereford mystery man plot trial at Worcester Crown Court.

Simon Hayes was sentenced on the 30th April 2019 following guilty pleas to perverting the course of Justice and possession of articles for the use in Fraud.

The investigation into the mystery man involved a national press campaign, the BBC Panorama program and enquiries with the FBI.

The Sentencing Judge described it as an unusual case:
“"I cannot find any case remotely similar to the facts of this case, curiously because there appears to be no apparent benefit to the defendant."
Gerard and Ashley were instructed by Aziz Rahman and Josie Welland of Rahman Ravelli Solicitors.
