”There are few barriers to the power of the state to wrongly convict people. Those that exist are access to information, representation by lawyers and the assessment of the quality of evidence by a jury based on accurate and balanced legal directions. Since information has been withheld deliberately or by incompetence because the rules around disclosure clearly do not work, criminal lawyers are seriously affected by legal aid cuts and poor working conditions and the judiciary is in crisis, it is dangerous that juries are the next target”.  You can read the link below:-
