Carmelite Chambers have been working with BPP’s pro bono unit and Streetlaw.

Last night we delivered the first of a number of planned training sessions to assist students with developing their presentation skills when delivering material to educate in prisons, schools and charities on topics such as gang crime, knives and guns.  Barristers at Carmelite have been involved in developing the content of the material and in preparing and presenting training.

This is an on-going project and we are delighted to announce a good working relationship with BPP pro-bono and to support their efforts in educating individuals and communities on topics that we are well experienced in on a day to day basis through our court work.

You can find out more about the event from the promotional material here.

Special thanks go to Sarah Day and Sahara Fergus-Simms.
