£26 million VAT fraud dropped.  Gerard Hillman represented a company director who was to stand trial in January 2019 as the 2nd of 16 defendants accused of cheating the revenue of £26 million.

The investigation commenced almost 6 years ago.  Following receipt and consideration of defence statements the prosecution (CPS Serious Fraud Group) conceded that they were unable to comply with their disclosure requirements.  As a result no evidence was offered against all defendants.  Gerard was instructed by Hamraj Kang and Colin Parker of Kangs Solicitors.
