A diligent advocate with experience of a broad range of domestic and international crime. Regularly instructed in the Crown, Youth and Magistrates’ Courts

Instructed as junior Counsel in a wide variety of work, including, fraud, drugs, violence and sexual offences. 

Prior to joining Chambers, P-L worked at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the International Criminal Court (ICC). She has experience of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and joint criminal enterprise in an international context.

At the ICTY, P-L was a member of the defence team for General Ratko Mladić, the former military leader of the Bosnian Serb Army (Vojska Republike Srpske). She was also a member of the defence team for the Deputy President of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, in the ‘Kenya I’ case.

International Octo-Finalist of the Jessup International Moot Court Competition 2013 (representing The Netherlands).
