Defends in all criminal courts. Recent instructions include allegations of attempted murder, rape, kidnap / false imprisonment and conspiracies in relation to fraud, drugs importation and supply and robbery.

Has a particular interest in allegations involving organised crime, technical arguments and detailed evidential issues.

Associated legal work as a Lecturer and Examiner on the MSc in Forensic Science at King’s College, and working with the John Smith Memorial Trust on their Fellowship Programme (placements and work with Judicial, Legislative and Executive Ministers, Officers and Civil Servants in emerging democracies). In the past has volunteered with Community Law Centres and undertaken pro-bono work. Continues to work with the Bar Council schemes with schools and pro bono work.

Is also a technical legal adviser and writer for television and film- working both on development, scripting, pre-production and on set advice - and sometimes appearing as an extra (often playing a barrister) in the televised programmes.
