Specialist criminal defence practitioner who is regularly instructed in a variety of cases including murder, gross negligence manslaughter, firearms offences, sexual offences, neglect, fraud, drugs and money laundering.

Has been led in a number of high profile cases including (R v Marcus Ellis & others) a trial concerning the drive by shooting at a New Year party in Birmingham.  Also experienced in cases where causation is in issue in particular gross negligence manslaughter (R v Hajinder Mangot) alleged within the medical profession. Experienced in handling the vulnerable and young, both clients and witnesses.

Before coming to the bar, completed an internship in Atlanta Georgia USA  with Michael Mears at the Multi-County Death Penalty Service. She worked on the Daniel Colwell case. She has also appeared before the Privy Council and maintains an active interest in Death Row  Cases.
