The Bar Standards Board has granted Carmelite Chambers approval to set up a scheme in conjunction with the Bermuda Bar Council. The scheme aims to train one pupil per year from Bermuda who will be awarded a scholarship from the Bermuda Bar Council with a condition that they return to practice criminal law in Bermuda. The scheme aims to foster relationships with the criminal bar in Bermuda and will offer the benefits of our extensive pupillage training programme to the candidate selected each year.
