Involved the murder of an infant child illegally brought into the country on the basis of the Defendant having given birth to twins whilst abroad when in fact one of the children was the child of a relative. Sensitive issues of both culture and psychological.
R V NGWENYA – BRADFORD CC – RAPE
Concerned an allegation of Rape by a Male whom had the HIV virus , the Crown chose to proceed on the basis of non consensual sexual intercourse rather than deliberately infecting alleged victim.
R V ILYAS – BRADFORD CC – ARSON
Involved the defence of the single most serious incident arising from the Bradford Riots. Defendant had allegedly set fire to a club trapping 23 people inside whom had to be rescued during the height of the Riots. The case involved , facial mapping , identification , evidence of gait.
R V MACE – MANCHESTER CC - COUNTERFEITING

A trial lasting over four months concerning the counterfeiting of million of $100 US bills. The evidence stemmed from both surveillance and infiltration by BBC journalists.

Defended in a landmark case in relation to the allowing or causing the death of a vulnerable adult where almost an entire family were charged for effectively turning a blind eye to the murder of a 19 year old female.
