Exclusively criminal defence practice with experience in matters of dishonesty, including benefit fraud, violent offences and drugs offences. Frequently instructed in allegations of domestic violence and cases where both complainants and defendants are vulnerable because of their age or mental health.  Experience in contesting applications for Anti-Social Behaviour Orders. Experience in acting for clients at Mental Health Review Tribunals.

NOTABLE CASES
R v CC and another - Enfield Youth Court
Represented 14 year old boy charged with sexual assault. His co-defendant was 10 years old and charged with grievous bodily harm and two sexual assaults. The Crown's case was both were part of a 'gang attack' on a young girl. The case was granted a certificate for counsel because of its complexity and relative seriousness.
R v W - Maidstone CC
18 year old accused of perverting course of justice and dangerous driving. Crown offered no evidence following successful s78 argument.
R v A - Blackfriars CC
Client accused of threatening to kill his wife, with 12 year old child son being relied upon as witness against him. Acquittal.
R v RY - Southwark Crown Court
Represented 70 year old retired headteacher who was alleged to have attacked her partner with a bottle. Acquittal
R v B and others - Wood Green Crown Court
Junior counsel in conspiracy to rob and possession of firearms case involving gangs in North London, with seventeen year old defendant being acquitted of all counts
.
R v L and two others - Southwark Crown Court
Defendant was described as 'mastermind' of a network of gambling cheats, charged with several counts of fraudulently entering casinos in order to cheat.
R v W - (Court of Appeal Criminal Division) -
instructed as junior counsel on appeal against conviction for gang-related murder. The appeal raised complicated issues in relation to a simultaneous application to quash the acquittal of a co-defendant. Appeal allowed and retrial ordered.

18 year old accused of being part of conspiracy to import £14million of cocaine across the Channel.
